Well well well .Take the money and run .I arrived at the sight just for saturday [£10] to park mt car it did say on the website £5 for the day.
all i got was sorry mate from to poor guy taking the cash who was getting alot of stick [no officals to tell me why it was now £10 just to park overnight]
so even before i get in i spent £60 for my ticket plus 5 booking fee .I bought this ticket in person from my local record shop ? then bought the programme £10 [which was no use ]thats £85 The sound was just not loud then the usual 5.clock quite hour if you cant get an all night long pump out the music loud n clear licence dont bother .[£4.50] a pint and water £3 oh dear. leave it to the big boys .
PS .man found dead in tent ,leaveing people on the sunday morning in the cold wind and pouring rain afer being very warm all night and wearing very little waiting for the shuttle bus that non of the security new anything about so it was just a case of hoping to find somone who did im suprised you didnt have more deaths on your hands .Yes its abit strong but you f~~k up big time.[no police sniffer dogs no searches just a quick look in bags maybe you should feel a little guilty.did the sniffer dogs cost a little extra .Guilty as charged and i hope the friend and or parents take you to court over your complete lack of security if this was drug related and this man was searched maybe he would still be alive .I do hope the newspapers pick up on this you need to be taken to task over this .shame on you .

[Still no genuine responce to all the problems some little but too many big ones to forgive.

I have written to both the local and national newspapers i ask you all to do the same.

I picked it up off the grass on the saturday night, was going to take it to lost n found but didnt want to miss a dj first and then forgot it was in my bag. Obviously will need proof its yours by giving me a full description of the camera and maybe sending me some other photos of the faces that match on the camera.

So I got sold a fake lanyard (which was handy in a way as it gave me a second chance to see some of the acts that I already missed :-)

However it means that most of the time I had no clue who was playing so wonder if someone could post the running order of the crasher tent following on from andy moor (3-4pm)...

Especially interested in who it was playing the classics later in the day...

I brought tickets for my hubby to go to creamfields as a suprise for his b'day (which is 2 days after mine) & he did the same for me, but the tickets are for reading!! I seriously can't decide which 1 2 go to n i've got mates goin 2 both..any ideas? creamfields is rite up my alley n vice versa with reading for him!

Wow......thats all i can say. You poms sure know how to have a party. Gatecrasher was my first UK festival and I had the best weekend of my life. Sure it rained and somethings were a little unorganised but thats what you get when you go to something of this size. I only went with one other friend yet by the end of the weekend had meet sooooo many happy people, got to see sooooo many dj's I had never seen before and had a stomp in just about every tent. Even found myself in the hardcore tent early Monday morning and i'm a psy-trance fan!!! The drum'n'bass tent was going off all weekend so was the crasher tent, to be honestly all of the tents and everyone there killed it!!!

Now my question to all you ravers where do I go next?

I'm living and working in London but after my Gatecrasher experience decided i'm not going to let money get in the way of a good time and want to go to as many big festivals/ raves/ parties what ever you call them as possible. Right now i'm looking at Creamfields and Glade festival. Does anyone have any experience, tips, thoughts on either of these? Creamfields has an amazing line up yet Glade looks like it may have that "special" feel to it (plus they got lots of psy). Ideas anyone?

Saturday was awesome! But Sunday... not so.

I was having an amazing time and thinking how nice & friendly everyone was until some nasty little skank stole my mobile phone out of my bag whilst I was dancing at Justice :( The crowd was really packed in and afterwards when I was looking for my phone on the floor I saw other peoples bits & pieces like a passports & a wallet photo & a hip flask. So whoever it was must have been rifling through everyones bags. The phone was a rubbishy old purpley-pink Samsung E530 flip phone that barely worked for anything other than text messages and had a dead battery! I know it sounds crappy but I've had a lot of trouble with an ex boyfriend over the past year & a half who has a few emotional problems and I had lots of messages saved on there as evidence of his behaviour. It was really impotant that I keep a record of them and now they're gone :( I'm hoping that once the horrible theiving scummer realised they'd stolen such a crappo phone they might have chucked it... so slim chances, but if anyone happened to pick it up I'd really appreciate getting it back.

I'm so gutted that happened as I'm always really careful about keeping an eye on my belongings and I was having the best time up until then. For the rest of the night I was really cautious of everyone & it ruined the vibe a bit.

I hope everyone else had a fun time though!

Whats the Odds of SSS comming back next year? I think it could happen but GC will need to Team up with a reciginised and experienced festival promotor such as Festival republic or Livenation if it is to happen. also reduce prices and Learn a HELL of a lot from this year. if it did get put on again next year I'd need promises that things will be improved from this year. it has the potential to be a great festival but they just seemed to let themselves down on several fronts. so 2009 the year of the real SSS!

Ps I had a great time, but I could see if they pulled their finger out a bit more it'd been a great time.

General no good's at the Crasher weekend

I am a happy festival girl and I was greatly looking forward to the Crasher weekend. I want to raise a few points which might be worth considering for future events.
First of all, I think that the variety of food was very poorly. Too many burger vans who 'ran out' of fries, potato wedges, cheese and so on. I believe the food should be healthier and if only comes with a slice of tomato. Plus point: Veggie van and smoothie stall but they could be a little bit cheaper. It is also not very nice when some caterers try to take the mick out of people who are waiting to be served, soaking wet!!!! One girl asked for a bacon and egg bap and had to take a rather stupid comment because she chose 2 ingredients instead of one. 'Where are YOU from? he said.My mate ordered and paid food but was not able to reach and get it because he just put it in front of HIM and ignored that she could not grab it. I so did not enjoy my sausage sandwich (bap!) without having decent shelter. There could have been a few gazebos around ( I know that is possible!). VIP camping was not very VIP either. Or remind me what was the VIP factor again???
I was quite disappointed that the Chemical Bros did not appear and nothing could be done about it. It is so easy to just say oh...they have cancelled. I feel sorry for their fans really.
Finally I want to say thank you to all the artists, especially the Hardcore Dj's and the MC's. They really motivated their audience and made sure that they won't be disappointed.
Paul Oakenfold WAS disappointing for instance. A genius he is but does he actually care about the crowd???

All in once I give the Crasher Weekend a happy 6 out of 10. I know the weather was dreadful and no one could change that!!!

I came in france only for gatecrasher and I was not disappointed with the trip!
my eyes and my ears will remember for a long time, it is a great festival!
and if I can come back next year, I will not hesitate one second ...:w00t:

Lost and found/welfare tent

Does anyone know any contact details for the lost and found/welfare tent at the festival? I lost my purse and I know the chances of getting it back are slim but really want to double check incase it was handed in-I wont have to pay out for a new drivers license etc. Any help much appreciated x

Surely they've lost count of how many people have complained by now and have realised that people never complain this much over festivals, despite that the weather is shit 99% of the time and bands get cancelled at festivals all the time!!

Between 9-10pm we found 3 Australian men who live in London, can anyone help us to identify them???!!!!

We were slightly intoxicated so did not get a lot of info from them!!

Holly was talking to a guy called Alex.

Laura was talking to a guy who was a plumber (and was extremely fit, with a lovely body!)

Kate was talking to the quieter one!

There were all 23 years old! Please help!

THERE IS ALSO A RUMOR THAT THERE IS NOW A 'SMALL CHARGE' FOR THE USE OF SHOWERS IN THE VIP AREA (THAT WHAS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I PAYED THE EXTRA FOR MY TICKET)

Hi, we're coming down in the morning just for the Saturday. We knocking on a bit (40's) with kids and unfortunately could get anyone to look after our kids for the whole weekend.

We want to know if we can come and go to the car as we please with just a day ticket. This is because if the weather changes can we go back to the car for coats etc? We are old people and we get cold easy :D

Really looking forward to it and hope it has the feel of the old raves. ;)

I want to get last minute tickets and collect them tomorrow, but I'd need to use my dads credit card as mine has nothing in it...would I have to bring his credit card along to pick up the tickets which I can't do as he'd never let me take it to a festival :|

No Access To the Village of Turweston

Just to be clear... for the duration of the event there will be no access to the aerodrome or event via the village of Turweston. There is a road closure in place and only residents will be allowed to enter the village.

The reason for this is because of the sheer quantity of people visiting the festival, this will put an unreasonable amount of strain on the village and may ruin our relationship with the residents thus making future events difficult.
